Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Nirudishie. They govern your access to and use of the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Nirudishie account or using any part of the Nirudishie platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Nirudishie is a personal loan tracking and reminder platform. It enables users ("Lenders") to record informal personal loans, send automated email reminders to borrowers, generate unique repayment tracking links, and monitor repayment progress through a dashboard. Nirudishie is not a financial institution, does not hold or transmit funds, and does not provide credit or lending services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under Kenyan law to use Nirudishie. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@nirudishie.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Nirudishie only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not use the platform to harass, threaten, or intimidate borrowers; send spam or unsolicited communications; record loans that are not genuine personal lending arrangements; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data; or violate any applicable Kenyan or international law.
6. Content and Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Nirudishie. By using the platform, you grant Nirudishie a limited licence to process that data solely to provide and improve the service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you submit.
7. Fees and Payment
The Free plan is available at no charge subject to the limitations described on our Pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable Kenyan consumer protection law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Nirudishie is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nirudishie and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of Nirudishie after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
