Nirudishie supports reminders today, but not in the fully customizable way a mature collections system would. The important thing is to understand what is already available and what is still coming later.
Manual reminders are the clearest control you have
From the app, you can send a reminder for a specific loan and choose a tone: soft, medium, or firm. That is the main user-controlled reminder feature currently exposed in the product.
- Use soft for light follow-up.
- Use medium when the borrower needs a clearer nudge.
- Use firm when the balance is overdue and previous messages did not move things forward.
There is background reminder sending, but not user-defined scheduling
The system also has a reminder cron job, but it is not the same as a user-facing scheduling dashboard. Today you should not rely on help content that suggests you can set custom reminder cadences per loan.
Keep the expectation realistic
What exists now is enough for sending reminders and tracking that they were sent. What does not exist yet is a polished rules engine for pre-due, due-date, and post-due scheduling by loan.
FAQ
Can I configure a custom reminder schedule in the app today?
No. If the UI or copy suggests that, treat it as coming soon rather than an available feature.
